Weekly update: 06-15-24

I hope everyone is having a great Saturday.

There were a few things I was able to do this week. Not as much as I would have liked, though. šŸ˜…

I’ve moved on to the penning phase of the commission I am working on for a friend. I changed the composition of the drawing a little bit by adding more to the foreground. I don’t know why I thought it was a good idea to hand-draw every blade of grass and rock… but I like the look.

I was able to finish one of my animal folk NPCs I created for ā€œFox Curios Floating Bookshopā€ and was able to sketch a second one.  If I ever get around to it, I am planning on writing a story based on the gameplay.

I created another program to make my TTRPG playing easier. This one was a nightmare. I spend two days squinting at my Python code, wondering why there is an error message. (Found out that dictionaries don’t call keys like lists. Lots of switching integers to strings and vice versa.)

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to play any Solo TTRPGs lately. However, the good news is that I’ve been able to play with my friends. We’ve been playing a heavily modified ā€œStardew Valleyā€ version with extensions. My hubby and I have been playing Dying Light 2. And I have plans to play a small TTRPG with a friend tomorrow called ā€œThe Last Tea Shop.ā€

I’ve been too busy to write anything on my novels. LOL, I have too many interests and hobbies. I am currently in three book clubs, which isn’t helping matters. Overall, I am a bit busy but having a ton of fun.

See you all next week and have a happy Father’s Day! šŸ’–
