Weekly Update: 09-02-24

This week has been challenging with my disability. My body has been hurting, my mind has been foggy, and my right eye just won’t stop cramping. I’m really trying to pace myself better than before, but it’s frustrating how slow I need to go to accommodate my body.

Despite the challenges, I’m making progress on the coloring sketch. I’m working on figuring out the direction of the lighting and whether the colors in the commission are fitting the piece. I’m also continuing with Nyapu-style portraits, but like a busy bumblebee, I’m buzzing all over the place with this project.

I’m still working on everyone’s spring portraits (vanilla and RSV), and I really need to learn how to use content patcher to make this whole process smoother.

On another note, I’m still addicted to modded Stardew Valley and Project Zomboid. I also just tried PowerWash Simulator, and I have to admit, it’s addicting!

I haven’t been reading much lately except for my book clubs’ picks. We recently read “Little Women,” which I think is a classic, and I’m glad I finally read it. My big book club is reading “Super Powereds,” one of my favorite book series of all time. I’m happy that the members seem to like my suggestion, but I’m a bit burnt out from some of the heavier reads I’ve been trying to chew through.

As for my writing, it hasn’t been happening much. However, I did write for fun this week in a random story that will never see the light of day, which I think is good and is helping me break back into swing of things.

Take care, everyone, see you next week.
