Weekly Update: 11-02-2024

🍂 Weekly Update 🍂

 

😵Hey everyone! This week has been a bit tough for my eyes, so I’m using speech-to-text to avoid straining them. Here’s what I’ve been up to:

 

🎨 I’m deep into a friend’s art commission, focusing on the grass and base coloring. I also made progress on my Stardew Valley Nyapu-style seasonal portrait mod. I tackled a portrait of Zuuie from the Passerby Cemetery mod, Abigail’s flower festival portrait, and I’m working on Lance since I found a mod that expands his content.

 

🎮 For gaming, I’ve been playing “Balatro” ( it’s easy on my eyes), and squeezed in some time with “Planet Crafter,” and the modded version of “Stardew Valley.” I may have gone a tiny bit overboard during the Steam sale—so many amazing games, I want to play them all!

 

📚 This month, I’m tackling three books for my book clubs: a cozy mystery called “For Whom the Book Tolls,” continuing “Blood and Thunder,” and rereading “Treasure Island”( Because I can’t remember much from it).

 

✍️ Writing has been going okay. I’ve been working on my romantic short story “You Knew” and jotting down ideas inspired by my solo tabletop RPG sessions. Progress is slow, but I’m improving!

 

🎃 Sadly, I didn’t do anything for Halloween this year. It’s one of my favorites, but getting around has been tough lately. How about you? Did you do anything fun, or were you a cozy homebody like me?
