Hey everyone! This week has been a lot better than last week, and I’ve managed to make some solid progress despite a few challenges. Here’s what’s been going on:
🎨 Nyapu-Style Portraits for Stardew Valley: I’m still working away at the Seasonal Ridgeside Village mod. I had hoped to finish by now, but I underestimated how tricky the Spirit Festival portraits would be. Still pushing through and aiming to have them done by the start of March!
📚 Book Cover Commission: The art commission for a friend’s book cover is coming along great! The background with the warped city behind the flower gave me some trouble, but I’m really happy with how it turned out in the end.
🎮 Gaming: I’ve been playing Satisfactory this week, trying (and failing) not to make spaghetti with my factory builds… honestly, I was just too lazy to clean things up. 😅 Also been enjoying my mega-modded Stardew Valley—though I haven’t had as much time for it as I’d like. Snuck in a bit of modded Skyrim, but man, that game eats time. (Time I don’t have!) Lastly, while I’ve been holed up in bed, I’ve played a few rounds of 20 Minutes Til Dawn—super fun, even if it’s just a quick break.
📖 Reading: I’ve been immersed in Titan (the Rockefeller biography), and it’s been absolutely fascinating to learn about the life of one of the richest men in history.
✍️ Writing: Sadly, not much writing this week, but I’ve been working on a character interview questionnaire. Almost done with it, so that’s something!
❄️ Personal Life: The cold weather has been really tough on me this week, with my disability flaring up in waves. But even with that, I’ve still been able to get some work done and push through.
Take care, everyone! Stay warm, and here’s hoping for some sunshine soon. 🌞
