💖 Weekly Update 💖
Feeling exhausted but getting a lot done!
Â
This week’s been a bit of a whirlwind. I’m tired, but honestly, I’m feeling really good about all the work I’ve gotten done.
Â
🌻First off, Ridgeside Village retextures are FINALLY DONE! After months of work and some pretty tough portraits, I can finally say it’s complete. Big thanks to Dolphinisnotafish for all the coding help and finding bugs I didn’t even know about — you’re a lifesaver! I also updated Law and Order, finished some retextures for Hat Mouse and Friends, and now I’m working on updating the portraits for Stardew Kid Expansion. Not sure what’s next, though… maybe I’ll tackle more single NPCs or jump into Seasonal Vanilla Stardew.

🎨On the art front, I’m almost done with the book cover commission. I sent a few typeset options to my client, so I’m just waiting to hear which one they want. I’ve also been fixing up a painting I worked on a while ago. My cat knocked off some origami flowers that were part of the piece (my bad for leaving it on the floor for her to get to), but I should have it fixed up by the end of this week.
Â
📖I’ve been reading a ton, but it’s honestly been a bit overwhelming. Got a little mixed up with my book club readings — I accidentally read The Priory of the Orange Tree early, and I’m not vibing with it so far (the characters feel kinda flat). I’m also reading The Book of Love, which has been an interesting magical realism read, even though I’m not entirely sure what’s going on. Azarinth Healer 3 and Savage Dominion are keeping me entertained too, so it’s been a pretty solid reading week overall.
Â
🎮As for gaming… I’ve been all over the place! Started Silent Hill 2 (and let’s just say, it’s WAY scarier than I expected). Still playing Deep Rock Galactic with the hubby, and I miss their anniversary décor. I also went a little overboard with mods in Stardew Valley, and now it’s like a giant fantasy city instead of a small town. I’m really enjoying the Sunberry and Baldur Valley expansions, though! Other than that, I’ve been into Moonstone Island (kinda like SDV + Pokémon + card games — very cozy), TCG Card Shop (perfect for relaxing if you like the idea of owning a card games store), Planet Crafter (still soooo addicting), and Subnautica (finally figured out how to not die from hunger and thirst 😅). I also tried Hat in Time (super fun, reminds me of those old-school 3D platformers), and Baldur’s Gate (I think I might’ve killed a main character by accident, whoops). Oh, and I briefly tried Palword — it’s cute, but I’ll come back to it when I’m not juggling so many games.

Looking back, I’ve definitely done a lot this week… no wonder I’m so wiped. 😆 Anyway, that’s all for me! Wishing you all the best, and I’ll catch you next week!
