🎨 Art Projects🎨
Working on a book cover commission right now. We’re still in the planning stage, figuring out what elements to include and what to leave out. It’s fun bouncing ideas around.
Also been doodling some original characters lately. I didn’t have enough space to show them off in today’s post, but if I find some extra room in future updates, I’ll definitely share them.
🌾 SDV Mods🌾
Still working through Nyapu’s Seasonal Outfits. I really thought I’d finish Harvey this week, but he’s got so many portraits (main bachelor problems 😅). Ended up having to redesign two since I couldn’t get permission to use the originals.
On the plus side—I finally finished coding my Seasonal Farmer Portraits!! Over 100 NPCs, and now they all react to my farmer. 😭 All that’s left is drawing portraits for each season and festival. Almost there!
Also started working on a little side project called Too Many NPCs Festival Fix. If you’ve ever modded SDV with a bunch of NPCs, you know how chaotic festivals can get. I’m mainly making it for myself and a friend, but if anyone else is interested, I might upload it to Nexus. Just let me know!
🎮 Gaming 🎮
Genshin – I GOT SO LUCKY. Pulled two five-stars and finally got Kinich!! He’s super fun to play—I’m already leveling him to be my new main.
Honkai (Star Rail) – Just finishing whatever events I can. Most of my characters are maxed, but I’ve been stalling on raising my world level. Hoping to pull a couple more five-stars before I take the plunge. Still deciding between Sunday or Phanon for my next pull.
ZZZ (Zenless Zone Zero) – I was hesitant to start another gacha (already playing two lol), and I wasn’t sold on the character variety. But then I saw Hugo’s trailer and couldn’t resist. 😍With the 2nd anniversary coming up and all the free stuff, figured it was a good time to jump in. Really enjoying the art and combat so far.
Zelda – Gave it a quick go… and immediately got frustrated with the controls. Why can’t you rebind buttons?! I keep pressing the wrong ones and messing everything up 😩
Stardew – I’ve been playing co-op with a friend every week, but I recently got back into my personal save too. Been having fun experimenting with all kinds of mods again.
📚 Reading 📚
The Poisonwood Bible – Picked it up on a friend’s recommendation. Not sure how I feel yet—there’s a lot of racism in it, and I’m still processing.
The Power Broker – Still slowly working through it. It’s dense, but interesting.
💗 Life Stuff 💗
This week wasn’t too bad! Been busy, and my sleep schedule’s kinda wrecked, but it’s still been way calmer than the last few weeks. Had a couple of “curl up in bed all day” moments, but hey, I’ll take the small victories when I get them.💪
