🧺 SDV Mods 🧺
I’ve been making some decent progress on the Seasonal Cute Outfit retexture mod! I finally finished Sebastian and Abigail! (I didn’t have room to show Abigail in this week’s image.) I also wrapped up all the Summer portraits and sprites for every character. Right now, I’m working on Gil, Morris, Marlon, and Gunter’s titlesheet sprites. Once they’re done, there are just Alex, Emily, Jas, Lewis, and Sam left to go.

 

🎨 Art 🎨
 I’ve completed the color mock-ups for a book cover I’m working on. Just waiting to hear back from my client on which version he likes best, then I’ll move on to the clean sketches. I think the designs are turning out great, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out once I am finished.

 

🎮 Games 🎮

• Honkai: Star Rail – I don’t remember if I already said this, but I got Phanon! He’s soooo busted, in the best way. He is super fun to play with. Trying to pull Tribbie now because… meta reasons. I love Anaxa and Phanon, but they both want the same teammates, so I’m figuring out how to build solid teams for each of them.
• Love and Deepspace – Finally unlocked Caleb! I get why people love him, but he hasn’t totally won me over yet. Then again, I didn’t vibe with Zayne at first either, and now he’s one of my favs. Pulled Xavier and Sylus from the Wedding banner, and I’m hoping to collect more of the guys before the event ends.
• Dinkum – I’m still loving this game, just didn’t get to play much this week. My house ended up in some kind of crocodile hotspot, so I’ve been doing a LOT of hunting. 😅 It’s slow-going but fun, but the Devs know what they are doing. The task completion in this game is so satisfying.
• Core Keeper – Started playing this again, and with my hubby. This game is so addictive. Now it has its claws in both of us. Too bad we don’t have a lot of time to play together. We’ve focused on boss killing so far. This game is so much fun in co-op.

 

📚 Reading 📚

• The Priory of the Orange Tree – Reading this for book club and… yeah, not loving it. The lore and magic could be cool, but I just can’t connect with the characters. I’m 80% in, and it’s been a struggle.
• On My Way to Meet Mom – Just finished this Manhwa and omg, it was beautiful. A really sweet sci-fi story about family, and the art is gorgeous. Highly recommend if you’re into emotional webcomics.
• Here Comes the Silver Spoon – LOVED this one! Such a fun isekai with an amazing female lead. If you like fantasy stories aimed at a slightly older audience, this one’s a gem. Great art, great writing, all-around awesome.

 

🛌Life🛌
Honestly, this week’s been a little rough health-wise. I’ve been in bed a lot, but I’m trying to make the most of the moments when I feel okay. Managed to get a few solid chunks of work done, so I’ll call that a win.
