⭐Weekly Update ⭐
🧺 SDV Mods Update 🧺
- I worked on some sprites for Maggs Seasonal Patch Mod to match outfits from the Nyapu Seasonal Outfit Mod. I like Maggs mod and I am happy that in the next update the mods won’t clash with each other.
- Did a couple of portraits for the RRRR mod. There’s a ton of details and hair variations, so it’s definitely been pretty difficult to do.
- Also revisited East Scarp. Even though I had done Rosa’s portraits before, I wasn’t satisfied with her hair, so I edited her a bit.
🎨 Art 🎨
Met up with my client this week to go over their custom book cover. We finally wrapped up how the constellations were supposed to look in the background. It’s looking great. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when it all comes together.
🎮 Games 🎮
- Honkai Star Rail – Still grinding out side quests, but I finally knocked out a couple main quests. Just finished Yukong’s storyline and… yeah, I teared up a bit. I’ve been saving for a male character, but Cerydra fits really well with my current teams, so I’ll probably pull for her and pop her on my Phanon team so I can free up Bronya for Anaxa.
- Love and Deepspace – I’m way too into this game right now. I know I was mad about all the paid cosmetics in this patch… and yet I bought the passes AND the summer pack. I wanted all the beach event cards, but Rafayel and Sylus refused to come home. I did get another Xavier card and his special beach outfit, though. I scrambled to get enough gems before the patch ended and managed to grab three of the event outfits (Xavier, Zayne, and Sylus). I’m only 25 pulls away from the guaranteed premium wish, but I hit my budget, and I know it won’t roll over to the next banner. 😭I am staying strong and keeping to the limited amount I am willing to spend in a month—barely.
- Arknights – Starting to get the hang of things! I’m using my currency to fill in some missing classes. I accidentally pulled Necrass in the first 10-pull on her banner. I wasn’t aiming for her, but wow, she’s been amazing in battle. Her summon + damage combo is saving my newbie account.
- Stardew Valley – Played a bit on my simple modded save. I’m in summer now and just relaxing, not rushing the goals. Taking it slow and enjoying the game.
- Steins Gate (Visual Novel) – I really liked the anime, so I figured I’d try the visual novel while I’ve been stuck in bed. Honestly can’t tell if I love it because of the anime or because it’s actually just really good…. But I think the voice acting and story have been amazing so far.
📚 Reading 📚
- Children of Time – Rereading this for book club and enjoying it so much more the second time. I’m picking up on stuff I completely missed before.
- Saga – This comic has been my comfort read while sick. It’s simple to get into, and I’m slowly working through the first omnibus.
💖 Life 💖
First off, thank you so much to everyone who sent well wishes for my husband. He’s recovering really well and feeling much better.
As for me… not out of the woods yet. My body kind of gave up on me halfway through the week, again. I’m actually writing this from bed. But! I rigged a great setup (laptop on its side) so I can still read, watch, and even game a bit without needing to move too much.
Unfortunately, being down most of the week means I didn’t get a ton done. This happens off and on, so I’m trying to slowly adjust my space and routines to make things easier when my body isn’t cooperating.
