I am a little late because I caught a stomach bug. 😭
🧺SDV Mods: 🧺
Didn’t get much done on portraits this week. I was able to work on Defense Division a little bit. Lee’s base and summer outfit are done, and I’ve started working on Miranda’s base.
🎨Art: 🎨
Still editing the book cover artwork based on what my client wanted. I also started showing a few typesetting options for the title. We are almost there!
🎮Games: 🎮
- Stardew Valley: I’ve been playing my simple Stardew Valley save on my laptop. I just finished Year 1, and I’m working on completing the community center. Decorating with Alternative Texture mods has been my favorite part.
- Shapez: I’m finally starting to get a handle on this game. Turns out I wasn’t leveling up properly because I didn’t realize I needed to make specific upgrade shapes (oops). Things are going a lot smoother now, and my factories are slightly less spaghetti.
📝Writing: 📝
- Koriko: This TTRPG has been a chill solo journaling project. My witch is just beginning her journey to find a new home, and I’m really enjoying where it’s going.
- The Offer (CYOA): Started working on this choose-your-own-adventure story. I’ve been wanting to write this up for a while. It’ll have eight completely different endings. I’m hoping to eventually turn it into a visual novel. I might post it somewhere if people are interested.
- Flash Fiction: Wrote a little flash fiction for this week’s “Prophet” theme. I am glad to be back into the habit of doing these microfics.
🗨️Life stuff:💬
I’ve cut out what I call “internet slop.” So, no more gacha games or endless YouTube scrolling for me. If it doesn’t feed me creatively or help me grow, I’m not spending time on it. Deciding to do this has freed up more energy and time for my projects.
Health-wise, just assume I’m horizontal half the week lol. On top of that, I caught a stomach bug this week, so things were extra slow. Sigh, I just want to get out of bed.
