✨ Weekly Update ✨
🧺 SDV Mods: 🧺
This week, I focused on two custom Stardew portrait commissions. The first one is a Farmer Portrait Mod based on the player’s character. The second is Maggs Emo Seasonal Sebastian mod that a client really loves. Both are inspired by Nyapu’s style, but everything is drawn from 100% by me. I don’t use Nyapu’s bases for commissions. It just doesn’t sit right with me to make money off someone else’s work.
I’ll be updating my Nexus profile this weekend if anyone’s interested in getting a custom portrait done. Feel free to message me on any of my social media platforms or websites.
Also got a message from someone wanting to collab on Seasonal East Scarp. I’m really looking forward to that, but commissions are my priority for now.
🎨 Art: 🎨
The book cover project was on pause while the author continued to narrow down the designs he wanted. So I decided to share a few of my original character concepts that I’ve been sketching on my phone when I had the time. (Not all of those were made this week. I just bundled them together since I had room in the update image.)
Eventually, I’d love to turn these OCs into game NPCs, but that’s definitely a future goal. For now, they’re just for fun.
🎮 Gaming: 🎮
- Stardew Valley: My solo save is going great…but man, Rasmodius makes you work to marry him. 😭(In the RRRR mod he’s totally worth the effort, though.) I’ve got him at full hearts, but still have a ton of stuff to do before it’s even possible. Since I’m not using my usual cheats (infinite health/time), it’s way more challenging. I’m currently: gathering stone for Skull Cavern (goal: level 100), chopping fir & hardwood for SVE barn/coop upgrades, running around Ridgeside forest (and trying not to die), navigating the Witch’s Swamp, and starting Ginger Island quests. Lots to do, so I’m not bored LOL. Also been having a great time in my co-op save with a friend. Last session was mostly decorating and chatting with NPCs.
- Shapez: Finally figured out how to do the logo! Had to look it up and still struggled a bit, LOL. I’m on Tier 5 for several upgrades now. The grind is painful, but things are speeding up.
- Coffee Talk 2: Sadly, I didn’t get too much playtime with this game this time around. Which is a good thing since it means I felt healthy this week. I usually turn to VNs when I’m feeling sick. Still loving the atmosphere and story of this game. It’s actually inspiring me to try making a visual novel someday.
📖 Reading: 📖
- Heretical Fishing Vol 2: Finished it (again), and moving right into Vol 3. Still obsessed with this series. The ending of book 2 was both hilarious and epic. I need more cozy fantasies like these, please.
- Fourth Wing: I have mixed feelings here. I really like that the main character is disabled and working through that, but the romance is just… not for me. I was rooting for the best friend, but he turned out to be a jerk. And the whole enemies-to-lovers thing? Meh. I’ll probably finish this book, but I doubt I’ll continue the series.
- The Power Broker: This one’s intense. I knew politics were shady, but wow… Stuff like highways cutting through farms because wealthy folks paid to avoid their land… yikes. Also wild how they manipulate project budgets on purpose. It’s really fascinating, but also kind of frustrating that things have to run this way.

Koriko (Solo TTRPG):
Wrapped up the “Arrival” section. My witch was just given a run-down mansion, so now she and her companions will need to fix it up. I am having so much fun playing this TTRPG. I never know how this story is going to go, which is the exciting part.
💖 Life: 💖
It’s been a busy but good week! I’ve been juggling: 3 commissions, 2 book clubs, a writers group, and staying on top of my health. I’m exhausted, but in a good kind of way. Hopefully, I can keep the momentum going into next week.
Thanks for reading until the end, until next time. 😄
