Micro /Flash Fiction Theme: Word Problems
Interacting with others has always been a problem for me. Talking seemed to come naturally to others, but I always seem to mess up this God given talent. Terrified of accidentally repeating phrases, I forget to mention important things. Need to convey a complicated concept? My words escape from me like I’m a cattle auctioneer. Wanting to improve my awkward ways, I passionately studied communication. Yet still, the phobias of talking too much, not talking at all, or saying the wrong thing— plague me. Even with these issues, I want to connect to others despite my word problems.
