š Weekly Update š
Happy holidays, everyone! I wanted to do something special for the SDV modding community, so I dropped a massive amount Nyapu retexture mods as a gift. Iāll be redoing Kids for School portraits and sprites next.

- Defense Division: So. Many. Portraits. But itās finally finished! Edward now has a short hair option (double the portraits), Isis had four hairstyles plus tons of outfits, Mirandaās hair fought me, and Lee turned out surprisingly cute, even though drawing animals intimidates me. Everything is tested. Iām just praying there arenāt any hidden bugs in the code.
- Desert Expansion: This custom NPC was adorable and helped fill out the empty desert in my game. The downside? The modder hadnāt fixed some English dialogue bugs, so I made a patch and shared it for players who donāt code. Also gave Laila a winter outfit because⦠walking through the snow in a dress seemed too cold for her to do.
- Seasonal Mariner to Mermaid: Loved these designs and even added subtle scales on their skin. Only one expression per mermaid, so the retextures went by easily. The mod interacts with so many others that I am a bit worried if the code I created will hold up. Iām keeping my fingers crossed!
- Better Things:
Did NOT realize this mod had an NPC for ages. Ā I discovered Agatha when her house got moved, and obviously had to make her portraits. Everything went pretty smoothly for this retexture except for her bathing outfit, which had some issues when testing it, but now it is fixed. - Mineral Town: The elves are done, then had to pause on this project to finish the big holiday Nyapu Retexture mod drops for the community. Worth it, but Mineral Town is on hold for now.
š® Games š®
- SDV: Played some of my simple red-themed save. I decided to marry Lance, Seb, Tea, and Ian. Proposed to Tea, and we will be married soon. Seb is going to be my second husband. Planning to custom-make our kids, and I might eventually release a mod with my personal edits.
- Expedition 33: Stunning game. Havenāt made the time to sit down and play. Iām currently headed to the magical forest with now four party members.
- Tick Tock: Played with my sister. We solved everything but the telegram puzzle. Really short, but surprisingly dark.
- Ace Attorney: THE CHIEF DIED??Ā Didnāt get much playtime, but hoping to soon.
- Core Keeper: Winter update is ADORABLE. Frost everywhere plus monsters in holiday gear are too cute. I helped my friend in her world to take down some of the outer biome bosses and helped her find the desert biome. Her bases are gorgeous.
- American Truck Sim: Sick time is chill time. Had one bad day this week so I got a few hours with this game. The Christmas event map is incredible. The Holiday trailers light up at night. I want to play more, but Iām juggling a lot.
šReadingš
- Trading in the Zone: I like the mindset principles detailed in the book. There is nothing mind-blowing yet, but itās a great reinforcement on some concepts I know.
- Campfire Cooking: I am in Vol 12 or maybe 13? Gon, the ancient dragon, joined. The MC is passed the point of OP. Great cozy read. I feel like some magical beasts are going to go extinct because of their eating habits.
- Hat Witch Atelier: Re-reading and still obsessed with the art and magic. Coco deserves the protection she got from Qifrey. I like all the witches except for Agottā she still annoys me.
- Out of Options: Omegaverse RH. Sweet but predictable.
- Antifragile: Just started, and I like the concept of becoming less fragile in the face of chaos.
- Goodbye Overtime!: Villainess LN. Fell too much into the clichĆ© territory. I finished the first book, but I wonāt be continuing the series.
āļøš©µ Lifeš©µāļø
This week was great overall. (Iām just dealing with insomnia.) I wanted to finish as much as I could before Christmas because I plan to take all next week off. So there might be a gap in the weekly update schedule.
To everyone in the SDV modding community, I hope you enjoy the huge retexture drop. ā¤ļø

šMerry Christmas!š Take care of yourselves, and Iāll probably see you next year.
