✨Weekly Update!

🧺SDV Mods: 🧺

  • Lumen: I’m excited to finally start on this project! I played Arknights back when I was really into gacha games, and Lumen was one of my fav characters. I’ve started working on his base, but I wasn’t able to finish it yet. There are a lot of details to draw, plus so many portraits. Hopefully, I’ll be able to show off his retextures next week.
  • Coal Farm: I finished all of Ashida and Marcus’s spring outfits this week. I really love how Ashida’s Flower Dance dress turned out. Marcus’s Flower Dance outfit was an easy edit… except for the sunglasses. Those were hard to draw, and I’m still not sure if they came out okay… oh well, time to move on. LOL.
  • Rose in Sand: I wanted to finish something simple this week, and since I already had several of Sandy’s retextures done, I was able to add the extras easily. That being said… the coding was a nightmare. I tried to make this mod work on top of my other Nyapu Seasonal mods, and it wasn’t happening. I’ll add compatibility to my seasonal Nyapu mods after I finish a few more projects, so I’m not constantly updating old ones.
  • Jakk Quinn: I finished her Egg Festival and Flower Dance outfits this week, which means all of her spring outfits are done. I’m not sure if I’ll focus on finishing her mod next week or switch to work on something else.
  • Adventurer’s Guild Expanded: I’ve started work on seasonal outfit mods for both Gabriel and Zinna. Right now I’m cleaning up their bases so I can start their retextures. I also still need to work on their Mongolian versions as well.
  • Colored Theme Project: I got a ton done on my color-themed retexturing project this week. I’m almost finished with everything I wanted retextured in red. I’ve been testing the CP code and learning a lot about how different asset replacements work. For now, I’m sticking with CP, but I plan to make AT versions for some of these retextures in the final release.
I’m really excited about the color-themed animals. I had to look up real chicken patterns, and I think they’re turning out great! The work has been easy to do on my phone when I’m not feeling well. It’s been a nice way to pass the time while recovering in bed.

🎮Games: 🎮

SDV: I barely played anything this week, but I did get to play the heck out of my simple red-themed SDV save. I still haven’t reached level 100 in Skull Cavern. I’m trying to romance Lance and befriend Lunna, and I need more hardwood so I can make a premium barn. I’m also romancing my husbands, Tea and Sebastian, so we can start having kids.
I’m really excited about the new “multiple kids” mod. I’ve always wanted a bunch of children, but I haven’t been offered a baby yet. Maybe that’s for the best, since knowing me, I’ll want to retexture them as soon as they’re born.

📖Reading:📖

  • Blackwater: This is the omnibus my Big Book Club chose for the next couple of months, and it’s really good so far. It’s dramatic and character-focused, with a side of horror.
  • Out of Control: I just finished this RH omegaverse. It was… okay. Honestly, it was hard to tell the love interests apart since they all sounded very similar. I did like that the FL had a child from a previous relationship, and the MLs were very sweet with both girls. There were some interesting ideas, but not quite enough for me to strongly recommend it unless you’re already a fan of the genre.
  • Mark of the Fool: I’m rereading this series, and I adore it just as much as the first time. I’m about 60% through book one and taking my time. I love how intelligent the MC is, the world feels real, and the hard magic system is well-built. It’s definitely a chunky read, but for anyone who enjoys long epic fantasies, I can’t help but to highly recommend this series.

💙Life: 💙

Sorry for being a day late with my detailed update… this week was rough. I struggle health-wise around this time of year, and an ice storm rolled in, which really aggravated my nerves. I spent most of the week in bed, drawing on my phone, and only worked when I was feeling well enough. I’m trying not to overdo it, so updates might be a bit slower until I recover.

I hope everyone is staying warm this winter. See you next week!
