Micro / Flash Fiction Theme: Rude Pasta
Confused, Roxana puts down her menu and stares at her sister.
Jenette smiles. “You’ll see. This will be the best break-up dinner ever.”
Roxana’s heart hurts. She loved John for seven years. Now, they were nothing.
“I’ll have the Rude Pasta— have it sound like my boss. And she’ll have Idiot Pizza—top it with the voice of her pathetic ex.” Jenette orders.
Moments later, their magical food is placed in front of them. Jenette enjoys spearing her pasta to the fake sounds of her boss’s torment.
Roxana’s pizza pleads in John’s voice. She enjoys every screaming bite.
