Microfiction Theme: “He was wearing a chastity belt”
Rina knew that dragon shifter tradition dictated she needed to capture a noble for her coming-to-age ceremony. Her parents found love, but her dragon dad had to constantly fight off her imperial mom’s pursuers.
Rina didn’t want to deal with that drama.
The doors burst open. Prince Blurtar stood there half-naked and looking miffed. His crazy royal highness was wearing cuffs—and is that a chastity belt!
“I’ve prepared myself for my abduction,” Blurtar declared.
“No matter how many times you ask, I am not kidnapping you!” Rina squeaked while running away.
The prince wasn’t too far behind her.
