Weekly Update: 04-26-25

🌟Weekly Update 🌟
Hey everyone! What I’ve been doing this week.

 

🎨 SDV Mods:

The Nyapu-style seasonal outfits mod is coming along! I finished Jodi and Pierre, and Clint is almost done—just need to draw his winter hat for his outdoor portrait.

I’ve also started working on a couple of Portraiture mods for my other Seven Sins SDV save. Currently drawing Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen—for my Sins SDV game. Trying to do him justice in my style!

Voice-over mod for Abigail is in progress. Editing the audio has been a bit of a challenge because of volume balancing, but it’s been super fun!

Still plugging away at the code for my Farmer Portrait mod—so many NPCs, so many reaction lines to write and test!

 

🎮 Games:

Paused my mega-modded SDV to focus on Seven Sins SDV (the one without Expanded, so I am trying out NPCs that clash with SVE).

Genshin Impact is still wildly addictive. I finally leveled up Venti so I can use him, but I’ve had no luck pulling extra copies. 😭

Playing Honkai: Star Rail —great for low-energy days since it’s turn-based. Still early in the story, but I limit myself to an hour a day.

Started the Steins;Gate visual novel! I loved the anime, and this is perfect for both nostalgia and practicing voice acting.

Got in a bit of Satisfactory. I started a fresh game and am really trying not to create a spaghetti factory this time.

 

📚 Reading:

Finished Martian Chronicles—some cool ideas, but didn’t blow me away.

Almost done with The Name of the Rose. I’m conflicted: love the religious debates and complex characters, but wow, the Inquisition’s violence is rough. Quoting a friend: “I feel too dumb to understand this book.” (Same.)

 

🎤 Voice Acting:

Focused on building endurance and experimenting with character voices.

Currently working on a male voice (harder than I thought as a female VA, lol). But I’m finally getting a lower pitch that doesn’t sound like I am making fun of men!

 

❤️ Life:

Health was not the best this week, and some real-life drama threw off my schedule a bit. Hoping for a calmer and more productive week ahead. 🤞
