🧺 SDV Mods 🧺
So… I was supposed to take it easy this week after finishing the SDV Seasonal Portraits. But, surprise, surprise! …I couldn’t help myself!  I ended up retexturing several mods instead.

• Helped out DolphineIsNotAFish with Nyapu-style portraits for the Jinu mod and Ginger Island Overhaul. Both are now finished!
• Fixed some issues in the SVE Seasonal mods: updated Sophie’s summer sprite and added indoor sprites for Susan.
• I’ve also been working on seasonal portraits for a few custom NPCs that I really enjoy playing with, but don’t yet have Nyapu portraits. Currently focusing on Seasonal Cute Aymeric, and I’ll probably wrap up NitoKito, Tea, Nora, and Jello RRRR before jumping into a larger project.
• Still holding off on East Scarp until that future update drops.

🎨 Art 🎨
Progressed on the book cover commission I’ve been working on! I finished painting the space background, and I’m honestly really happy with how it turned out. Time to move on to detailing the planet!

 

🎮 Games 🎮

• Star Rail: Nothing too wild this week. Just grinding dailies and working through side stories before going back to the main arc. I’m still debating whether to pull for Cyrene. She’d be great for my team (Anaxa main hypercarry with Phainon being my second carry team), but her kit feels so niche… Might just pull casually and see what happens…
• Love and Deepspace: OMG, the Summer Banner is almost here!! I’m so excited it’s a fluff banner and not a spicy one — not that there is anything wrong with spice— I just prefer sweet.  Xavier, Zayne, and Caleb all look amazing, and yes, I will be trying to get them all. I’m hoping the next banner after this one is a skip. I need to save my diamonds.
• Typing of the Dead: I finally finished it! Totally ridiculous, gross, and hilarious in the best way. Loved the crass phrases and words that made me laugh. The final boss fight was confusing, though. Fun game, but probably a one-time playthrough for me.

🎤 Voice Acting 🎤
Started practicing voice acting again! Still working on Abigail. Had my hubby listen to a few lines, and it turns out I need to redo some of them.  Voice acting is way harder than it looks, LOL.

 

💖 Life💖
Health-wise, this week was more good than bad. I’m glad I made so much progress on several projects. Hoping this means I’m finally crawling out of my summer health slump. I’m trying to catch up on art, reading, and everything else that fell behind lately.

 

Can’t wait for fall—looking forward to cooler weather.
