🍂 Weekly Update 🍂

🧺 SDV Mods: 🧺
I’ve been busy with two custom farmer portrait commissions this week. I finished the first one early on, and I’m almost done with the second. I just need to wrap up the festival portraits and do a bit of coding. I was planning to work on East Scarp next, but since they just had a major update (and it sounds like Nyapu might be doing portraits for it), I’m going to wait a bit on that one.

🎨 Art: 🎨
I doodled a few outfit ideas for my OC, Jameson. I didn’t get as much done as I wanted, but I’m still sharing what I finished, plus one extra character design, so the update image isn’t too empty.

🎮 Gaming: 🎮

  • Stardew Valley: I played a bit of my simple save (red-themed) file this week! I even made a few personal edits so some of the bachelors match the color scheme. I might share those later with the modding community. Sadly, I wasn’t feeling great, so no co-op playing for me this week. Which means the East Scarp update will have to wait until the next time I play our mega-modded save with my friend.
  • Steins Gate: I’ve been playing this on and off. It’s a really chill game, and maybe it’s too relaxing because I keep dozing off mid-story, so I’m constantly saving my progress. I’m in Chapter 2 right now and really enjoying it.
  • Slime Rancher: Revisited the first Slime Rancher while resting this week. It’s such a cozy game, perfect for zoning out with an audiobook. The slimes are so cute. I’ve basically finished the game, minus a few grindy bits, but it was fun while it lasted.
  • Dinkum: My husband and I have been playing this one together, and it’s our go-to co-op game (for now). He’s been out hunting and fishing like crazy, and I’ve been busy trapping, farming, and running my orchard. We just got underwater helmets, so he’s been wandering around on the ocean floor. Highly recommend Dinkum if you love chill, cozy games.

đź“– Reading: đź“–

  • Magus of the Library 2: I am still impressed with this series. The art is gorgeous, the story is great, and the theme is centered around books. I am rooting for our main character and his new animal pal. The scene where he dug out the tree stub was so touching.
  • Zorro: Reading this one for my Classics Club. It’s charming so far and makes me nostalgic for the old show I used to watch as a kid.
  • Mother of Learning (Arc 1): This story started off slow, but wow, it really picks up halfway through. It’s a cool mix of time loops and magic, and I highly recommend it if you like LitRPGs.
  • Medusa’s Destiny: Re-reading this spicy reverse harem with Medusa and her gargoyle guys. I like it, but I kind of wish there was more story before the intimacy. Still, it’s been an alright read so far.

📝 Writing: 📝

  • Koriko: My solo TTRPG playthrough has turned into a full-on epic adventure. I’m still in the “Summer” section, and when it’s done, I’m planning to turn it into a novel (or maybe a series).
  • CYOA “The Offer”: Finished editing the 3rd-person POV version this week. I limited myself to three edits max, so I don’t nitpick it to death before letting friends and my beta readers take a look. Once it’s done, I’ll post it on my blog.
  • Microfiction: This week’s theme was “Geology Rocks.”  I went with a little sci-fi comedy about aliens and scientists who really don’t want to deal with them.  It will be up on my blog: AhCreativeHub.com.

đź’– Life: đź’–
This week’s been kind of a mixed bag. My health’s been acting up again, so I spent a good chunk of the week resting. But on the days I was up and moving, I actually got a lot done, which feels great. Fingers crossed next week’s a bit better. Hope you’re all doing well and taking care of yourselves, too. See you next time.
