✨Weekly Update! ✨
🧺 SDV Mods 🧺
- Nora: I somehow completely missed that Nora’s mod updated and added festival outfits. (Opps.) So, this week, I retextured her festival outfits and added them to my CP code. I wasn’t sure if every festival was fully coded yet, so I added the ones I couldn’t find in the original files.
- Coal Farm: Finished the bases for Marcus, Mora, and Ashida! Marcus and Mora’s Spring outfits are done, and I also finished Mora’s Flower Festival outfit. Ashida’s Spring portrait is coming along nicely. The binoculars and the hands holding them were so hard to draw, but I’m really happy with how they turned out. I’ll show Ashida off next week.
- Jakk Quinn: Her Joja hat was bothering me, so I reworked it. I think her work outfit looks much better now.
- Foliage: This is a project I’ve wanted to tackle for a long time. I love plants and have always wanted to redraw the foliage in my style, but retexturing NPCs keeps taking priority. I finally drew and tested a pine tree this week! My eventual goal is to retexture all the trees across my mods (SDV, SVE, RSV, ES, etc.).
🎮 Games 🎮
- Stardew Valley: I actually played both my simple save and my mega-modded save this week. (Yay!) In my simple save, I married Tea and Sebastian and started working on romancing Lance. I’m also still trying to reach level 100 in Skull Cavern. (It’s so hard without cheats. 😅)
For my mega-modded save, I played one in-game day. My usual process is to play a day, see what needs fixing or retexturing, mod it, then repeat. I still have a lot of retextures and NPC placement fixes to do before that save is “good to play.” - American Truck Simulator: I played a bit of this while I wasn’t feeling great. The Christmas event is back… but you need the new Louisiana DLC to finish it, so I decided to skip this time.
📖 Reading 📖
- Three Men and a Boat: Reading this for my classics club. It’s a comedy about three wealthy men and one of their dogs traveling by boat. I caught myself smiling at a few jokes, though some of the humor went right over my head due to the book’s age.
- Demon World Boba Shop: I’ve been craving cozy fantasy lately, and this one really hit the spot. So far, I love it. One word sums it up perfectly— “Nice”. I’m slowly working through book one and already plan to buy the rest of the series.
- Legends & Lattes: Such a cute, cozy read. I adored the characters and the low-stakes drama. A giant dire-cat as a shop mascot? I am there! I’ll probably continue the series.
❤️🩹 Life ❤️🩹
Studying: I’ve been studying day trading, and honestly, my brain feels a bit cooked from all the technical info. I’ve also been brushing up on writing advice and did a little writing, but nothing substantial enough to show off, yet. On another note, I’ve been learning 3D art in Blender, though my other studies have made it hard to sit down and model anything.
Health: This week was a bit rough. I haven’t been feeling well, and family drama didn’t help. I didn’t get nearly as much done as I wanted, but I’m pacing myself and hoping to make more progress next week.
Sorry, this update is a day late…my body completely crashed yesterday, and I had to postpone posting. 😅
Take care, everyone, and I’ll see you next time!
