🐰🐣 Weekly Update 🐣🐰

🧺 SDV Mods: 🧺

  • Farmer Portrait Commission: My client requested seasonal + festival portraits for her farmer, and she is so cute. I love her gentle vibe, though her outfits have been a bit of a challenge with all the details (definitely worth it though!). I’ve finished about half so far…still have most of fall and all of winter left, plus the programming.
  • Seasonal East Scarp: I really pushed myself this week to make progress alongside commission work. Jesse is now finished! Oliver is almost done, I just need to finalize his Spirit Festival outfit (his hat is giving me trouble 😅). I’ve started on Katharyn, and I’m hoping to begin Tori next week.
  • Colorful Craftables: Still working on my color-themed projects, though progress was a bit slower this week. I did manage to finish a couple of houseplants and some scarecrow retextures.
  • Animated Scarecrows: Like many of my ideas, this one came from getting sidetracked while working on scarecrow retextures. I decided I wanted to make them into handsome, color-themed animated men watching over the farm. I’ve finished the regular scarecrow and one rarecrow (the snowman…now a merman because… water logic? Or maybe I just wanted a handsome merman on my farm). The coding and animations were a nightmare at first, but I’m finally getting the hang of it, and I’m really excited about this project. Currently focusing on red to match my save.

🎮 Games: 🎮

  • Crime Scene Cleaner: Still one of my favorite chill games while listening to audiobooks. Act 2 just released and wraps up the main story, so I jumped back in. There were a few glitches, but I still had a great time. I finished it this week, and I might come back later to 100% it.
  • Planet Crafter: My sister and I moved on to the toxic DLC after finishing the base world. Detoxifying the radioactive planet has been super satisfying (especially watching those clean bubbles appear). Still a long way to go, but we’re having so much fun.
  • Satisfactory: I got my sister into it… and now she’s obsessed. She’s at Tier 8, so I decided to jump back in too. I’ve just reached Tier 2 so far and have been taking it slow.
  • Silent Hill 2: Oh my God, this game is terrifying. My husband and I finished it, and it was such an amazing remake (very nostalgic). We got the “In Water” ending while aiming for Maria, but honestly, we were okay with it. We watched the other endings afterward on YouTube. Still sad about the Great Knife not being in the game! Overall, highly recommend if you love horror.
  • Core Keeper: Still playing co-op with a friend. I focused more on decorating this time while she explores the forest area. I’m trying to think of creative ways to expand and decorate our base.

📖 Reading: 📖

  • Salem’s Lot: This is my book club pick for the month, and I went in blind, but it’s Stephen King, so I wasn’t worried. The small-town atmosphere, tension, and characters are so good. I’m about ¾ through, and… yeah, some of my favorite characters didn’t make it. Definitely a great horror read.
  • State of Grace: A reverse harem series I’m really enjoying. Great character development, slow-building romance, and great world-building. I’m on book 3 and taking my time with it. I genuinely like all the love interests, which is rare for me in this genre.

💖 Life: 💖

Sorry for the late post! I’ve been pushing myself a bit too hard lately, and my body definitely made me pay for it. I crashed pretty hard yesterday, so now I’m trying to rest and recover.
I might take a week off soon for my birthday… we’ll see. I’d like to finish my commissions (and maybe East Scarp) first.

I don’t personally celebrate Easter, but for those who do, happy holiday! 🐣

Hopefully I’ll see you all next week 💕
