⭐Weekly Update

🧺SDV Mods: 🧺

  • Drawberry ESR: I finished Beatrice and almost finished Corwin. (Only his Flower Festival outfit is left.) I decided to do the ESR version since there are already plenty of seasonal ES portrait mods available.
  • Jakk Quinn: I wanted to work on a single NPC between my larger ES projects for whenever I want a break. I drew several more of Jakk’s portraits this week, and if my health cooperates, I hope to finish this mod soon.
  • Colorful-Themed Mods: I’ve been updating the color-themed paths. I plan to retexture the crystal flooring because I’m not happy with how it looks right now. I also wasn’t satisfied with some of the recolors, particularly Bluegrass and VPR, so those are getting another pass. The vanilla recolors will be receiving some tweaks as well. On my craftable project, I redesigned one of the seasonal plants because I didn’t like my first attempt at one of the retextures.

🎮Games: 🎮

  • Mega-Modded SDV: I finally unlocked the harder Community Center bundles. They’re definitely challenging, but I think they’ll be fun to complete. I’ve finished repairing the living room and bedroom and am now working on the kitchen bundle. I am really happy that I added the Broken Farmhouse mod to my game.
  • American Truck Simulator: It’s time for me to read some audiobooks for my clubs again, and this is my go-to game to play while listening to books. This week I’ve been driving through Wyoming.
  • Persona 4: This is the game I played the most this week. (Spoilers!) Rise was kidnapped and rescued, Teddie somehow got a Persona and became human, my least favorite teacher died, and the killer is still on the loose. I am trying to figure out who the murderer is. So far, I am not sure who could have done it.
  • Diablo 4: My husband, his friend, and I have mostly been running around, upgrading gear, and killing everything while skipping the story. I have to admit, being a pyromancer is a lot of fun. I’d like to go back and properly experience the story with my husband on a future playthrough, though.
  • Is This Seat Taken?: I finished it! It was a cute, short game with adorable art. A couple of the puzzles gave me some trouble, but overall I enjoyed it. At the sale price, I’d definitely recommend it. At full price, I’d probably hesitate given it’s a really short game.
  • Miami Lane: This has been my go-to cozy game whenever I want something relaxing. It definitely has its limitations, but if I wanted something more complex, I’d be playing a different game. I’m currently on the yokai-themed level… I think that’s level 5 or 6?
  • A Little to the Left: I played a bit this week but ended up putting it down after a level glitched. Even after solving the puzzle correctly, the game wouldn’t register it. I spent way too long thinking I was missing something before looking up the solution and discovering I had been right the whole time. (It was the fruit sticker level.)

📖Read: 📖

  • Mark of the Fool: I’m still working through Volume 6, but I’ll be putting it aside for a bit so I can catch up on reading for the various clubs I’m in.
  • The Invisible Man: I’m reading this for my Classics Club. So far, I can definitely see why it’s considered a classic. I’m still not entirely sure whether it’s science fiction, horror, comedy, or some combination of all three.

💬Life: 💬

Hi everyone! This week’s blog entry is going to be short, sweet, and to the point because I’m not feeling well. I still wanted to stop by and give everyone a quick update on what I’ve been working on.

Unfortunately, there’s no update on my secret project. I’ve been too under the weather this week to make any meaningful progress on it.

There are also some family matters going on right now, so there’s a chance I won’t post an update next week. Then again, knowing me, I’ll probably still find something to talk about. (“Relax” isn’t really in my vocabulary. 😅)

Take care, everyone! If I don’t see you next week, I’ll be back with another update on the 20th.
